Bio

Sharon Levy is from Atlanta, GA and received her B.A in Studio Art from Bard College and her M.F.A. in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego. 

Levy has had solo museum shows at the Santa Monica Museum of Art, and the CSU Fullerton Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, CA. She has participated in group exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Atlanta, Austin, and Tijuana. She was a member of the Torrance Art Museum Forum mentorship program in 2018, a 2021 Sci-Art Ambassador with Supercollider Gallery (Inglewood, CA), and was a member of the Los Angeles artist collective Museum Adjacent. In 2022 she curated–along with Isabel Beavers–the exhibition Extraction: Earth, Ashes, Dust at the Torrance Art Museum. She was a 2007 West Prize finalist, and has work included in the West Collection (Oaks, PA), Traeger Headquarters (Salt Lake City, Utah), the Tetra Hotel (Sunnyvale, CA), and several private collections. 

Sharon Levy lives and works in Los Angeles and Inglewood, CA.
