About
I am a graphic designer, production artist and fine artist living and working in Los Angeles. Originally from Atlanta, GA, I received my B.A. in studio art from Bard College in upstate New York in 1999. After five years in New York City I moved to La Jolla, CA to attend University of California San Diego's Masters Program in Visual Arts. I received my MFA in 2007 before moving to L.A. where I have been working as a freelancer.
My three years as the one-woman art department of Astralwerks Records in New York City made me a fantastic multi-tasker, able to design, produce, and manage all aspects of the print process under high-pressure. My six years as a freelancer have made me flexible, and able to work quickly and meticulously independently or under direction. My background in fine art makes me a creative problem solver who loves to be challenged. I love learning new things, and I thrive in a creative environment with people who love what they do.
Haley Miranda Group
Haley Miranda Group is an agency in Culver City, CA that specializes in promotions and events. Clients have included Food Network, Versus Network, ESPN 360 and Levi's. As part of the Haley Miranda team I've worked on both design and production of POS ballot boxes, emails, web banners, print collateral, advertisements, outdoor banners and signage.

Knock Knock, Inc.
I worked as a production artist at Knock Knock, a company that specializes in clever, irreverent stationary products. Among other projects, I completed production on two 2010 daily calendars sold through Chronicle Books.

As part of the team for the classic lingerie brand Frederick's of Hollywood I've worked on layout and production of 2010-2011 catalogs, as well as designed some signage and internal newsletters for retail.

Irwin Naturals
As a freelancer at Irwin Naturals, I used established design elements to design and produce collateral for the launch of the Irwin Kids line of nutritional supplements. Items included a store display header, a poster, sales sheets, a sample box, and a giraffe print box and envelope.

Catalog for "The Wood" Art Exhibition
This catalog went towards completion of my MFA degree in Visual Arts from UCSD. I did all of the design and production of the catalog, in addition to making all of the artwork pictured in it, and directing the photo shoots of the artwork. The work deals with the wood as a romantic space, as well as wood as a material. The catalog communicates the fairytale aspect of the work, reflected in the text, with its large drop-caps, and images that unfold like a story book.

Cordell Corporation is a small company that is restoring the Natural History Museum of LA County. I have designed and produced several materials for the project including a one-sheet, a commemorative poster and a watch.
