Sharon Levy is from Atlanta, GA and graduated from Bard College
with a B.A in studio art in 1999. She was the recipient of the Bard
Fellowship in Sculpture and attended the 1999 summer session at
the Milton Avery Graduate School for the Arts, Bard College. She completed her M.F.A. in Visual Arts from the
University of California, San Diego in 2007.
Sharon had a solo museum show of her project "The Wood" at the Santa Monica Museum
of Art in 2007. She has participated in many group exhibitions including
“Origin is the Goal” at LACE, “Fresh: New Art
from UCSD” at The Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, “Que
Traes?” at Estacion Tijuana, Mexico and “Mood”
at Curt Marcus Gallery, New York. In 2006, Sharon participated in
a residency at Lui Velazquez, Tijuana, Mexico as part of the exhibition
“where:.”
